I ran across this post at Apartment Therapy today. Contributing writer Julia Brenner does a wonderful job honoring her heirlooms!
Although she states these aren’t family heirlooms, they’ve become her personal heirlooms and I’m so glad she wrote about them! The afghan blanket, bronze figurine, poster of Miles Davis and Vintage Pitcher not only transport her to another place and time, they tell her family history, and represent who she was growing up and who she is today.
What items are meaningful to you?
